Money often costs too much
Note: I am not affiliated with any of these resources, nor receive any compensation if you use them. Always do your own research and decide if a given resource makes sense for you.
Preparing for the SAT does not have to be expensive. I consider the resources to be high value for the money. In each case I have used it extensively, and/or read enough independent reviews to vouch for it.

- Pwn the SAT eBook

UWorld SAT Bank
UWorld is an electronic resource comprised of a large bank of questions and answers. As of this writing, there are almost 2000 questions in their SAT bank, and the content has been growing steadily every year. Many users on Reddit swear by it. I have used it extensively myself and bought it for an entire class I taught. Here is what makes UWorld SAT special:
- Low cost: $79 for 6-months and $99 for a year. As these online resources go, Uworld is substantially cheaper than the competition
- Top-notch questions: The questions are very comparable to the actual SAT test. If you spend enough time looking through SAT tests, you’ll find that they have a particular feel that has been hard to imitate. Uworld has done an admirable job here
- Top-notch answer explanations: Each question has an in-depth answer in clear language, and for the all-important English section, provides a convincing explanation of why a wrong answer is wrong, which is just as important as highlighting which choice is correct
- Mobile-friendly: I cannot emphasize this enough. The mobile interface for UWorld is incredibly good

PWN the SAT eBook
PWN the SAT is easily one of the top rated books for the Math section. It covers 99% of what you need to know on the SAT Math sections. The eBook costs anywhere from $7.99 to $9.99 on Google Play (which is also available on iPhone). I have used this book with my students and its questions and coverage are hard to beat for such a low price
